I got to LA on Jan 8th, 2012. I was living in a crappy little motel right near the office. My first order of business was to find a more permanent place to live.
Since this is only a temporary living situation, I didn't want to get a place on my own. That would mean buying furniture, dishes, appliances, etc. I would also have to figure out what to do with all that crap once I am done here in LA. So that leaves me looking at roommates.
I have never had a roommate before but luckily this area is fairly expensive and lots are looking for roommates. So for the first few weeks, I spent my evenings walking around meeting people and looking at rooms for rent.
During this initial time of separation from my wife and kids, loneliness set in rather quickly for both myself and my wife. We both turned to craigslist to try to find answers to our problem. It turns out that women can get sex easily but really just want dates. Men can get dates easily but really just want sex. This is totally skewed in one direction!
No, you're wrong. Women don't want dates they want a connection. All you want is sex.
